A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

Duda is looking to fill an exciting and unique Senior Full Stack Developer position. This role will involve building full-stack applications that connect Duda’s platform to 3rd party products and release them via Duda’s App Store. Integrations built have the opportunity to be used across 100,000s of websites by more than 20,000 agencies and web professionals. You will need to develop and maintain production-grade applications, based on customer, stakeholder, and company requirements. This hybrid position (not remote) requires 3 days in the office in Florianopolis-SC per week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Evaluate, scope, and build integrations with 3rd party products & platforms into Duda’s product
  • Monitor, maintain, and improve upon existing integrations
  • Document & communicate decisions & tradeoffs made while integrating
  • Write maintainable, readable, secure, and well-tested code
  • Ensure integrations follow best practices for UX, security, & performance
  • Work collaboratively with the App Store team, Product, Customer Success, Sales, and more across the organization, to educate and enable our customers
  • Understanding of development efforts and estimations with the ability to turn around quick prototypes to illustrate solutions for specific business cases
  • Ability to work independently within established timelines to deliver solutions

WHAT YOU’LL ADD TO DUDA

  • Proven experience as a Node/JS/TS Full Stack Developer or similar role
  • Experience in customer-facing environments, with daily customer interaction
  • Experience developing modern web applications, ideally single-page applications that contain their own client-side routing and network request functionality
  • A working knowledge of CSS and experience implementing UI designs from a design product such as Figma or Sketch
  • Experience using 3rd party APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc.) and related authentication schemes
  • Experience with common client frameworks and libraries - specifically React, but Angular, Solid, Svelte, etc. will be considered
  • Knowledge of common Node frameworks such as Express, Koa, etc.
  • Knowledge of version control and branching strategies using Git
  • Familiarity with databases especially document databases (Mongo, Dynamo, etc.)
  • Familiarity with AWS services - Lambda, S3, API Gateway, Dynamo, SQS and more
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in English. Excellent oral and written communication is a must
